My name is Michael Neitzel, I was born in 1969 and come from Seligenstadt in Hesse.
I’ve been fishing with a rod since I was a child, and for the last 12 years I’ve only been fishing with a fly rod. The first two years I bought my flies, but I was never really satisfied with them. Since I’m a bit creative anyway, the inevitable happened. The virus struck a second time and I also started fly tying. Fly tying has become a great passion of mine, I prefer to tie dry flies, nymphs, and realistic flies which is also reflected in my fishing. My preferred technique is fishing with dry flies and nymphs for trout and grayling in small / medium streams. I love actively stalking with the dry fly.

Fly fishing and tying has become a passion for me, which now I cannot imagine living without. I also use every opportunity to pass on this virus and my knowledge to others.

It is a great honour for me to participate at the Bending Feathers as a tyer and I am looking forward to many visitors and exchanges among like-minded people on site.

Best regards, tight lines, and always a tight tying threat.
