I was born on 12.10.1963 in Munich. I went fishing with my brother Manfred when I was four years old. Since then, the fishing virus has never left me.
As a typical city child, however, it wasn’t always easy to pursue my beloved hobby. That’s why waters that could be reached by bicycle were my favourites. Getting my first car at 18 was of course a great relief.
Numerous trips to Europe, Alaska, but also to salt water, Cuba, Mexico, and Kenya broadened my fishing horizons.
In 2004 I became self-employed and took over the Angler-Zentrum-Laim in Munich. Since 2005 I have been a state-qualified instructor for the fishing examination. It is a great pleasure to pass on my knowledge to future anglers. Since November 2021 you can meet me in the Münchner Köderschachtel Weiglstr,19 80636 Munich.
