I am 33 years old and I have been fly fishing for five years. When I started fly fishing, I really wanted to use self-tied flies from the beginning, because that’s the way my grandfather did it as well. Since then, I tie everything I want to fish and therefore new patterns are added all the time. I don’t aim for “super realistic” or “highly elaborate”, but to tie as catchable and durable as possible. My motto is “Fishing Flies for Fly Fisher like you and me”.
Since I mainly fish for salmonids, it is mainly dry flies, nymphs, and trout streamers.
