My name is Ronald Springer, I was born in Linz in 1974 and moved to Vienna in my early childhood.
I became fascinated by fishing in the mid-80s when I was allowed to catch bait fish for an old man.
Although I am an “all-rounder” in terms of fishing, fly fishing has a very special appeal for me.
I was very lucky to have had a very good teacher in fly fishing as well as fly tying and have been pursuing this wonderful hobby for 25 years now.
In 2017 I became part of the GoFish Experts (many thanks to Heinz Zöldi!) and am in constant exchange with many other fly tyers. You never stop learning 🙂 !
